A monument in New Jersey is the Princeton Cemetery. The Nassau Presbyterian Church owns the Princeton Cemetery.  It is located parallel to Palmer Square. The Cemetery used to be called the "Westminster Abbey of the United States" by John F. Hageman in his 1878 history of the town because so many prominent citizens are buried there.  The Delaware River Planning Commission designated it as a historic site "well worth preservation."
